“Birthday Blog of a Twenty Something!”

Hi! So today is my birthday. Yes, I was born exactly 12:30 pm of New Years Eve. My mom told me that my name was supposed to be “Newly” from the word NEW YEAR. But they ended with my name which is “YOLLY AL” and they got the “AL” from my nickname which is “ALIMAG”.

As I celebrate my birthday, I think back of the people who have influenced my life and who have been a big lesson. It is a long list, many of whom I call my true friends and close family. I’ve smiled, I’ve laughed, I’ve screamed, I’ve cried, I’ve been down these past years, I’ve made so many mistakes and lost a lot of opportunities but I am still thankful because all of which are there to remind me that I am moving to another year. Means another chance to be better, do better and live better. I want to look forward for what is coming. I hold on to the promise that God will make something good out of the storms that brought sadness to my life.

And today, I want to always strive to improve myself and I welcome this new age being thankful that I’m still alive and sorrounded with the people that I love.

So I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have touched my life. Thank you for my family who genuinely cared about me. For their undying love and support during my darkest days. Really blessed for having them as my parents. Please give them abundance of happiness and love.

For my man who who still love and respect me despite of my rudeness, I’m so thankful for the great relationship that I’ve discovered with him because he has always been a positive influence in my life. He never gave up on me even though it was too hard for him to handle my attitude. He taught me to be more positive in life and failure according to him is a challenge to dream big. Nothing is impossible as they say.

Thank you to my friends, aunts and cousins, brother and sister who stood by me through good and bad times.

And I want to thank God for giving me another year to live in this world and to be more productive. To share my life and be a blessing to other people. It’s another year to dream, to live, and to enjoy. Thank you God for your unconditional love, for the wisdom and all the things that you’ve given me and my loved ones. So thankful that you never leave me nor forsake me.

To end this, I am going to share my birthday wish here on my blog for the first time ever. My birthday wish are honestly not too big for words to encompass. I just wish that God will continue to guide and help me to be a better person everyday. To be more focused in life and be more dedicated with all the decisions that I want to do in my life. That he will continue to blessed my family with good health and strength. That the love of the people who loves me will grow and they’ll continue to love me despite of who I am. I also pray to God that I may work and live every moment to the glory of his name. And God to continue to bestowed me and my family with all the blessings that we deserve.
